Urban Techies was founded by Brittany Lee, whose passion for cities developed when her family uprooted their mountainous Vancouver dwelling to the barren deserts of Dubai when she was 5-years old, and for the next decade witnessed the city grow, crane by crane, like a pop-up book.

Her architecture and business academic background has enabled her early career at the intersection of urbanism and technology in consulting, proptech, and telecoms working on GIS and IoT projects for the City of Toronto and major real estate developers.
